moving rebuildingthtefoundations.org to Christian-history.org
December 06, 2023

This email is to explain what "Rebuilding the Foundations" is.

First, I am still encouraging unsubscriptions for those that do not want the type of content below. The bottom of this newsletter has clear unsubscribe instructions.

I will be moving my articles on rebuildingthefoundations.org to Christian-history.org, condensing the 2 websites into one.

I have written a book now called _Rebuilding the Foundations_ (available wherever books are sold). The goal of the book is to challenge several foundational Reformation/Calvinist ideas. After 500 years, those foundations, those ideas, have become traditions that are accepted without question. They affect (infect?) our understanding of the atonement and what it means to be saved and "go to heaven."

"Go to heaven" is not in the New Testament, which is likely a surprise to most of you. Instead, the NT uses phrases like "inherit the kingdom of God" (Eph. 5:5; Gal. 5:19-21). This is just one of the results of a wrong foundation covered in the book and on rebuildingthefoundations.org.

My work on "rebuilding the foundations" has been based in Scripture. The combining of the two web sites is part of bringing the testimony of the early churches into my Scripture teaching.

There will also be a second edition of _Rebuilding the Foundations_ that will have quotes from the early church fathers to back up the plain but controversial teachings that are currently in the book and on the web site.

God's grace to all of you.

Paul
