How to Make a Church Fail

It's hard to know how to maintain humility and promote a book that I wrote at the same time.

How to Make a Church Fail is unique.

Many Christians have written on the fall of the church under Constantine. That's a real thing. It happened.

My book is written from satan's perspective, and it gives the history of satan's long battle to get the church from the incredible powerhouse that was the church of Acts to the broken, violent, corrupt entity that was the 4th century church.

I'm not prone to conspiracy theories. I don't believe God is ever out of control. I believe God always knew there would be a counterfeit Christianity, and he meant for it to develop. The devil did not surprise God with the rise of Constantine and the marriage between church leadership and the Roman government.

“But I told you, persecution must be stopped. It is not an effective weapon against the church. I used it simply because the church was filled with weaklings, and I knew that my net would be bursting at the seams.

“Wisely, I stopped short of cleansing God's church for him. I left him with proud, divisive men who had forgotten how to battle me and were trained in battling one another.”

But it did happen, and How to Make a Church Fail walks you through the process that made it happen.

I think you'll be surprised by the unique perspective on that fall.

However, what I write in this book is meticulously researched. I have read everything that the early churches wrote from the time of the apostles until A.D. 200. I've spent extensive time reading the writings and history of the early 4th century.

What I write is historical. There's nothing new or contrived in the history that is in this book.

The perspective is unique, but I am confident that my perspective is accurate because it applies to modern churches. They split and collapse in the same way. They become nominal in the same way.

In other words, it works. It's principles are being put to effective use to overcome the divisive and worldly attacks of the devil.

Excerpt from
How to Make a Church Fail

"My plan is a three-part process that ends, not in the renouncing of the Christian religion, but in its replacement with something that does not join people to God or to his purposes."

I also have the support of the churches I respect throughout history; churches that not only brought in a lot of people but also effectively taught them to obey all that Christ commanded us (Matt. 28:20).

Take a look at the excerpts on this page. How to Make a Church Fail is wonderful insight into the battle the early churches faced, and the battle you will face if you want to see Christians living the exciting, together, and powerful life of the apostolic churches.
